Markever (“Markever”, “we”) is built so that your photos stay yours. Your photos and videos are never sent to us — they stay in your own Apple account. The only information collected is what’s needed to run your subscription, described below.
Your photos and videos are never collected. They are copied into your own Apple account and never reach us — no Markever server ever receives or stores them.
The only data collected is to operate subscriptions. When you subscribe, our subscription provider RevenueCat receives your purchase history and an app/device identifier in order to manage your subscription and provide us aggregate subscription analytics. This data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with data brokers.
Markever keeps a protected copy of your photos and videos inside your own Apple account. They never pass through us and we cannot see them. This copy is kept safe even when you delete the original from your phone. We never delete from this backup — the app contains no code that can remove your backed-up files.
We use Sign in with Apple to let you into the app. Apple may provide a user identifier, and (the first time, if you allow it) your name and email. This is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us.
The app requests access to your photo library to back up your photos and videos, and to add them back when you choose to restore. Access is used only for these features. Markever does not read your documents, messages, or other apps’ data.
You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Account → Delete Account. This removes your Sign in with Apple identity and the app’s local data from your device. Your backed-up photos and videos are not deleted — they stay safe in your own Apple account and you can sign back in to see them anytime.
We do not track you and use no advertising SDKs. We do not link your data with third-party data for advertising, and we share nothing with data brokers. We rely on two service providers, used only as described above: Apple (Sign in with Apple and App Store payments) and RevenueCat (subscription management and analytics).
The app is not directed at children. We collect no data beyond what is needed to run your subscription, as described above.
